Nice one again Perry, who was the sax player on "Pirates"?
Perry responds:
Stef,
On the Keith Emerson solo bit ("Hello Sailor" from his solo record "Honky") the sax was played by Andrew Brennen. On the following Emerson Lake and Palmer song "Pirates," ELP were accompanied by The Orchestra de l'Opéra de Paris.

Any truth to the rumor that the purple hat and pajamas are in the BRYHNH store?
On iPod and burning a copy for the car . . .
Perry responds:
I am wearing the purple pajamas as we speak. They are my pajamas of choice when I am out front yelling at cars to "Slow down! There's people with dogs in the neighborhood . . ."

I think i had a pair of sneakers like that.
Perry responds:
On the east coast you called them sneakers, while in the midwest we called them gym shoes . . .

Perry ol man, I don't know what you are smoking but ever since you did the show #153, (your secret tribute to the Packers Superbowl win) you podcasts have been dead on....I have enjoyed them all, keep doing what you are doing.
Perry responds:
Keep it up with the Packers Superbowl bit, Mike. Go ahead, keep it up. Wait until next year. Or just wait until fall when you see the Cubbies . . . oh never mind . . .
:-)
And so glad you are digging the last few show . . .

Another great podcast. I'm on my 3rd listen. Always great to hear live versions of Bad Company,The song and the band + new music from Robbie Robertson and Augustana and of course your deep and insightful commentary like the muckings of Alan Klein. Heres another reference regarding the early Bob Seger catalog which he's had his hand in tying up
