It's like I said put together the perfect podcast for us to have dinner on the patio on a perfect late spring night. The Santana took me back to a really good place and time too.

Talking to my brother about going to see Genesis at the garden in NYC the first time...they had played smaller venues before that with the lamb and trick....and how great they were with YOUR OWN SPECIAL WAY as the single...great memory for me and of course the Bowie is just well duh classic Bowie....you even paid your tribute to Paulie too

Does the excellence of all this KNOW no bounds . . . ?
OK, I've said enough. This is the shit (does that mean what i think it does?) Get over to that shop, keep the strong coffee comin' man . . .
p.s.: is it nice and warm in Chicago in sept cos if its NOT BRRRRRRRR
Perry responds:
Yes Dave, it means what you think. And yes again, plenty warm in Chicago in September. In fact if the temp goes down 20º from what it is now, it will still be a balmy 85º F . . .

I spent a week of evenings in a friend's barn once building a homecoming float and listening to an 8-track of "Endless Summer" (an endless Endless Summer if you will) - about the uncoolest thing a 16 y/o could listen to in 1979 short of Melissa Manchester. I HATED The Beach Boys for years.
They are redeemed.
That old masters still have a song like From There to Back Again in them gives us all hope. Thanks again, Perry.
