I hope he doesn't eat up the playlist-anything with "torn and frayed" plus "turn to stone" listed, is too good to be snacked on.
Just be patient P.

Paulie,
Hang in there, it gets better before you know it. My dog, Nora, has had both ACL's done and she gets around just like new, even though she's 12. Get well soon.

Well Good Morning Chicago and the rest of the WORLD.
hAVING jUST rETuRned To Scotland From a Near 3.5 WEEKs In the upper Echelons Of BryHnh Towers. It's time to get back to business. (in this episode of My Review of the SHOW..ARE AN ABNORMAL AMOUNT OF tYPOS to allow mY vERY gOOD fRIEND a moment Of Frustration hehe)
What an amazing Vacation and Frustration. Poor Paulie's ailments and my Green Card application going in, but Mr Obama's being too busy with that Mutt Romney, a man loved by all his family and hated by more than 47 % of the listeners to Bryhnh.
OK, Run with it Dave....
Michael Brook. I could have listened to 80 mins of this guy, sadly only a few seconds...leading into Mick and the boys sadly as worn as poor Paulie's cruiciates. But I digress. I was listening to this in Chicago's O'Hare airport waiting for my flight back to the UK on Tuesday night..and Camel came to my rescue. Joy in a great prog moment LIVE... Next the Banshees and the Cure trading slots in Punk/Goth lifetime legends awards with some tearing up on there own and others songs..AH joy another track from old school Page and Plant...I wasn't seeing the tracks as i was listening on my preloaded I pod. JOY indeed Thanks perry
On and on it went like a queue outside Johnnie's for a hot and sweet combo..Until i skipped Greenday, never my fav pseudo punk rattlers.
Yeah, the Eagles came to my rescue with a live version of Turn To Stone. Loved this Guitar Heaven..
Passing the test with Peter Gabriel in the days when a SLOWBURN was a less complicated show than we saw in the United Center on the Thurs a week ago. TOP STUFF indeed (yes my little weakness) sliding in to a SOOPERB VERSION of Chamber Of 32 Doors with Steve Hackett's new solo album out soon. CANNOT wait to see this forthcoming Tour in May next year ..
ELP who on fail with this beauty, huh Not me. I still remember the smell of the album cover when i picked this up from the store the first time around...
Aimee "WHO" Mann? Ahhh now i know hadn't encountered her but there is hope she sounds like the late lamented Kirsty McColl.. grabbed my Roger McGuinn next in the form of a jangle or two. Nice to my fav Monkee... I FIRST HEARD MIKE NESMITH when i bought a solo album that was a cut out ,cheap American import in a shop in Glasgow....Getting down and dirty with Bettye who was on one of the chat shows when i was sitting on my chair In BRYHNH towers in Chicago recently...strange choice but a great cover.. Then Mr Joe Jackson from an album i wasn't convinced on until a few growing listens..then seeing him live at The Vic in Chicago with Perry and John CC LAST FRIDAY NIGHT. Soooperb. Grab a ticket if he calls in your town...ahhh now i got caught with a right hook on the last track, one of my fav Beatles songs (apart from Blackbird) crooned by the Elvis Presley Orchestra...Touch of smooth to call it a day in my last few minutes In Chicago 2012 visit...Thanks Guys on another SHOW that lives up to the BEST radio you have NEVER HEARD...BLOW THAT HORN. Sound the victory. On to the next . . .

Best to Paulie, Perry. A little late getting around to this one, but an excellent show as always. I thought the "Slowburn"/"Chamber" mix was phenomenal. They almost sounded like they were meant to be together as one piece. And I seem to be hearing ELP a lot lately in various places, including radio and some TV concerts. This just adds to it.
The first time I ever heard "Hey Jude" it wasn't Paul singing it. It was this Elvis version. I was probably 8 and my parents had just bought a home stereo that consisted of AM/FM with built-in 8-track and two speakers. That Elvis 8-track was one of the few in their meager collection I cared to listen to. This one brought back some memories.

I am sooo behind. Best to ya Paulie - you're a good dog. Perry, I know your anxiety - our Lil' Heidi went under to get a tooth pulled. Recovery a bit rougher for Paulie but he's got a good pack leader to take care of him.
Perry responds: 10.29.12
Paulie is still recovering four weeks out, but a long way to go. Just carried him into to Perry's World (which will require carrying him out later) while working on the 11.1.12 show. I suspect he will be of little help, but I like having him under my feet (where he is now) just the same. Paulie also had a tooth extracted. One that our vet said was the worst cracked tooth he had ever seen. In the days leading up to his extraction once we knew it was broken, he gnawed on his bones without pain, which kept us relieved. The evening following was a different story. In retrospect, you're right John; a crack in the sidewalk compared to this recovery canyon . . .
